Aranka Ouwehand's Pyjama Experiments with Canvas and Flag-cloth
Aranka Ouwehand produced by herself a pyjama for her two sweet-itch-patients, and Andalusian and a Lusitano. The pyjamas wer made from canvas and flag-cloth and a piece of an old waxcoat to cover the ears (against the rain). The "medical" success is very good, and the visual appeal as well - don't you think so? Aranka advises to cover some parts with a double layer like the mane area where the animals will rub more against poles etc. Canvas did not turn out to be an ideal material due to low wear resistance and slow drying.
