Removing the "Window" item in Filemaker Pro bound solutions A friend showed me a nice trick to remove the ever so nasty "Window" menu item from a bound solution. I'm talking FMP 4.03 and Windows here. You need to change 7 bytes in fm_xxx.dll (xxx is the extension you choose during binding). Removing the "Window" menu item makes of course only sense after binding for the users. Before binding it would make development pretty much impossible. Hint: look for Hex 26 00 57 00 69 00 6E 00 64 00 6F 00 77 and turn all non-00's into 00's. Good luck! Back to the list of my FileMaker Pro trouvailles |
